Unicorn Score

How projects are ranked, and how we keep it hard to game.

Weights

Verified development 30%, product adoption 25%, consistency 20%, treasury transparency 15%, community 10%. Dimensions without verified data are left out and the rest are reweighted; missing data is never treated as zero or filled in.

Anti-gaming

Only pull requests that passed CI count, trivial and duplicate ones are dropped, and daily counts are capped. Consistency counts distinct active weeks, not commits, and development is normalized by project age. Every part of the score is labeled verified, approximate, self-reported or unavailable, and self-reported numbers never count. A snapshot is stored daily so you can see the score's history. Paid placement never affects the score. This is not investment advice and does not predict success.
